GSAL is excited to announce a pioneering new career networking hub, specifically designed to improve gender diversity in the workplace, Women in Leadership (WiL).
Developed from a pertinent question that although GSAL provides the very best independent education in the north of England what happens after that…? Even with a clean sweep of A stars and a place at a top rated university, connections to a career path you are passionate about are crucial:
That’s why we are launching this visionary adaptation of a best-in-class career networking hub, but reimagined for the modern day.
It will consist of, and be run by, 50 of the highest achieving women in their respective fields… who have all been through GSAL themselves!
From cutting edge medics to fast growth businesswomen, environment pioneers to creative gurus, these women have smashed through glass ceilings all over the country (from those GSAL roots!) and now want to inspire the next generation of leaders: YOU!
Quite simply we have worked hard to sign up 50 of our most high achieving “old girls” across every discipline you can imagine. They will come to school for talks you can sign up for, they will host informal lunches so you can chat one to one and they will be able to facilitate work experience and connect you to others in their field.
Starting in April we will announce the first of our 50 of ambassadors with their biographies and cvs and the first half year of events. All we ask you to do, is find the women that inspire YOU.
