Principal Mike Gibbons said: “This is a wonderful set of results and I am very proud of our students. It has been a testing year for all A level students, with unprecedented demand for university places, so it is gratifying to see that our students have succeeded in achieving offers from the UK’s top universities and have gained the results to take up these places. Results like these are not achieved without dedication and sheer hard work. I offer my congratulations to all our students and to the staff for the part they have played in these well-earned achievements.”

This year more than 80 per cent of GSAL students received offers from Russell Group universities while every student who applied to study law received an offer from a university of their choice. Some 70 per cent of students who applied to medical schools were successful in attaining offers.
