Wednesday 1 September 2010 GSAL students who studied for the International Baccalaureate (IB) qualification were celebrating this summer. They studied six subjects each and were also required to write an extended essay. Seven students achieved over 39 points, with one student achieving a remarkable 44 out of a possible 45 points. They include Anya Sheltawy (44), Benedict Oldfield (42), Alistair Finerty (41) and Ben Bickler, Grace Dickinson and Matthew McGoldrick (all 39).
