Sports Tour Evening and Auctions

Parents, pupils, alumni and friends of GSAL are warmly invited to the Sports Tour 2023 Evening at GSAL on Saturday 18 March from 6.30pm. This year the sports tour is in South Africa and involves pupils who play rugby, hockey, netball and football.

Special guests for the evening include Liana Leota, former New Zealand netball international and England technical and Rhinos coach and Lisa Ashton MBE, Founder and CEO of the Winnie Mabaso Foundation.

Live auction and raffle – event guests only
There will be a one-night only live auction and a raffle too.  Proceeds from the auctions will support the tour and proceeds from the raffle will support Rob Burrow’s Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).  Live auction prizes include:-

• 2 x  Man City vs Leicester Tunnel Club tickets at the Ethihad  – Sat 15 April, 3pm
• 7 night holiday in a 4-bed luxury villa in Portugal
• 2 x VIP tickets to watch Leeds Rhinos

Tickets, available on sQuid for GSAL families, are £25, which include drinks and a delicious South African-themed buffet.  Alumni and friends of GSAL can purchase tickets here.

Online silent auction – open to all

There will also be an online silent auction open to the whole GSAL community from 3-17 March for four fantastic prizes.

• 4 x Peter Kay VIP tickets for First Direct Arena, Leeds, Dec 2023
• 4 x County Stand tickets for Ebor Festival, York Racecourse
