The Teaching and Learning Leeds Conference 2024
Changemakers – inspiring our young people to make positive change
The Grammar School at Leeds is delighted to be hosting The Teaching and Learning Leeds Conference, taking place on Saturday 22 June.
The day’s programme includes two keynote talks, a choice of up to four workshops and a networking lunch. Teachers and leaders of EYFS, primary and secondary stages are warmly invited to attend.
Keynote speakers
Dan Fitzpatrick: The AI Classroom – Teaching and Learning in the Artificial Intelligence Revolution
Author and renowned education trainer Dan will take conference delegates on a journey through the ever-evolving world of artificial intelligence, interrogating how it is transforming our lives and, most crucially, its impact on education. Recognised with multiple awards for his work in this rapidly growing field, Dan’s expertise and insight has been invited onto prominent media programmes such as Good Morning Britain and BBC Radio 4.
Rt Hon Stuart Lawrence : The World’s Best Teacher
We are privileged that Stuart will close our conference. A former teacher himself, as well as a campaigner and author, Stuart has worked tirelessly for social change since the murder of his older brother Stephen. Stuart believes that being a teacher is the best profession in the world, and that education goes beyond the classroom. His words will provide inspiration to overcome fears of failure and empower conference delegates to take risks in the classroom and in their personal lives.
