The ability to make an inference is a big part of all lessons in schools. It underpins every process involving reading. The session looks at how you can address one of the big stumbling blocks in reading in secondary schools.

Profile of facilitator:
Chris Curtis has been an English teacher for fourteen years and a head of department for the last five years. As avid reader and blogger, he is always looking and reflecting on what works for students in the classroom. Chris is a big believer in finding and sharing practical solutions to difficult problems in the classroom.
