Profile of panelists
Laura Hoang (OG08)
Laura Hoang is a chartered engineer at ERM. She has had a diverse career to date, working on various aircraft platforms – from design to in-service support. She was awarded the BAEs US Programmes Engineer of the Year 2019 and RAeS Herbert Le Sueur Award for her contribution to the industry. Laura has a number of roles within the Royal Aeronautical Society, including being a council member and chair of the membership Services Board. She is passionate about STEM outreach and diversity and inclusion, particularly within the aerospace industry. Laura studied Engineering at Loughborough University.
Connor Wilson (GSAL17)
Connor is a graduate engineer with BAE Systems. After leaving GSAL in 2017 he studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
