She has had a diverse career to date, working on various aircraft platforms – from design to in-service support. She was awarded the BAEs US Programmes Engineer of the Year 2019 and RAeS Herbert Le Sueur Award for her contribution to the industry. Laura has a number of roles within the Royal Aeronautical Society, including being a council member and chair of the membership Services Board. She is passionate about STEM outreach and diversity and inclusion, particularly within the aerospace industry. Laura studied Engineering at Loughborough University.
