This session aims to prioritise PSHE for a little while, thinking about the importance of the subject and some effective ways to deliver the subject and to avoid potential pitfalls. What you will get out of it: Better understanding of the social and emotional aspects of PSHE teaching and challenges facing teachers in those roles today, and some strategies to use in the classroom. Profile of facilitator: I have taught English, Classics and PSHE across North Yorkshire in state and independent schools over the last 15 years, and am now head of PSHE at a state, selective grammar with boarding.
