This year’s programme of alumni events has a distinctly international flavour with receptions planned for the USA and the Far East.
With many old boys and girls living and working abroad, events in Washington, New York and Singapore will be a chance to connect, catch up on news and even forge new friendships.
First up are receptions in Washington on 18 February and New York on 21 February. These are part of a sixth form study tour which will be led by GSAL’s head of politics Andrew Stodolny. Alumni are invited to join Andrew and the students for an informal gathering to share their views and experiences on living and working in the USA – particularly in the current climate. The event will also be a great opportunity to network with other alumni and share experiences of LGS, LGHS and GSAL.
The Washington reception will be held in the Washington Plaza Hotel at 10 Thomas Circle NW, Washington, DC20005, and the New York event will take place in the lounge bar (garden area) of the Ludlow Hotel, 180 Ludlow Street (between Houston and Stanton) New York City 10002. Both start at 6pm.
Also in the pipeline is an alumni event to be held in Singapore in October when GSAL students will be there on a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) trip. Full details of date and venue will be available soon.
